HealthForce Partners Northern San Joaquin Valley Graduate Degree Educational Expenses Stanislaus County Scholarship

Each academic year starting in 2025-2026, at least 10 scholarships or more depending on available funding, of up to $5,000 each will be awarded to eligible students with the selection criteria below:
1. Students must be accepted, admitted, and enrolled in the following program: MSW (Master for Social Work)
2. Students must be a U.S Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Deferred Action for Child-hood Arrivals.
3. Preference for students living in Modesto or greater Stanislaus County
4. Preference for second year students in the MSW program
5. Preference for students who are working at a network adequacy-facing organization including Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services or an approved community-based organization in Stanislaus County
6. Must demonstrate financial need
7. Minimum part time enrollment
8. Minimum GPA of 3.0
9. Scholarship may be renewable up to two years.
Provide a personal statement of up to 500 words: Describe your connection to the Stanislaus County community and/or how you would invest your time in the Stanislaus County community and specifically the city of Modesto.
